cinematic film still, a lone stone lighthouse on a rock stack being engulfed by an enormous breaking wave that rises above the lamp room, one lit window still glowing, warm lamp and window light against the cold blue-white of the water and the gray storm sky, immense scale and defiance, photorealistic, shot on 70mm, film grain, cinematography in the style of Jarin Blaschke --ar 9:16 --style raw --stylize 250 --v 8.2 --relax --no painting, illustration
Why it works
A big wave on its own is just weather. It looks dangerous when it is about to hit something, and when someone might be inside. Each line below adds one part of that.
Cut it off from land. a lone stone lighthouse puts one building in open sea. With no shore and no other building in sight, no help can reach it.
Stand it on black rock. on a rock stack gives the tower a dark base. Dark rock under white water gives the frame its strongest contrast.
Bury the tower in the wave. being engulfed by an enormous breaking wave wraps spray around both sides of the tower. With half the building hidden, the sea looks stronger than the stone.
Keep the sky gray. the gray storm sky leaves the sun out. With no sun in the sky, the lamp is the only light you can see.
Make the lights the only warm color. warm lamp and window light against the cold blue-white of the water makes everything else blue and gray. The eye finds the warm spots first.
Leave a light on. lit window still glowing tells you someone is inside. Now the wave is a danger to a person, so you worry about them.
Before you run it
Expect more than one lit window. The prompt asks for one lit window, and this render lit three windows and a doorway. It still works, because every light is warm and every light says someone is home. If you want exactly one, run it again.
Treat the mood words as extra. immense scale and defiance names a feeling. Everything you can point at in the frame matches a thing the prompt names: the wave, the rock and the lights.
To make it yours, change the building and keep the rest. A farmhouse in a flood or a cabin in a blizzard works the same way: one building, nowhere to go, and a light on inside.
